About the TrueLevel HIV Feasibility Study

For people living with HIV, routine monitoring of viral loads is essential, but it can be difficult for those who live far away from a clinic or doctor’s office.

The TrueLevel Study will help determine whether self-administered viral load monitoring can help people living with HIV more easily manage their care.

If we’re successful, we can make self-administered viral load monitoring more widely available. This will make it easier for people to get the care they need, improve their health, and reduce the transmission of HIV.

Benefits to Your Community

Easier Monitoring

We hope to make self-administered viral load monitoring accessible. This means people living with HIV can privately and conveniently monitor their own viral loads.

A Healthier Community

When people living with HIV monitor their viral load, they know how well their treatment plan is working, so their doctor can make changes if needed. Ongoing HIV treatment helps support overall health and well-being.

Reduced Transmission of HIV

By helping people living with HIV track their viral loads regularly, we can decrease the likelihood of transmission. People who are treated for HIV are less likely to transmit HIV.
